Token Trace LLC ("Token Trace," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

It does not replace any additional confidentiality, data-handling, or privacy terms contained in a separately executed engagement agreement.


1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Token Trace.

A. CONTACT AND IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION

We may collect:
• Name
• Email address
• Telephone number
• Country or general location
• Company or organization
• Job title
• Other contact information you provide

B. INVESTIGATION AND CASE INFORMATION
When you contact us about an investigation, dispute, compliance matter, or other service, we may collect:
• Descriptions of scams, thefts, disputes, or suspicious activity
• Cryptocurrency wallet addresses
• Transaction hashes and blockchain identifiers
• Asset types, networks, amounts, and transaction dates
• Screenshots, spreadsheets, reports, and supporting documents
• Exchange or wallet-provider correspondence
• Law-enforcement reports and case references
• Names, usernames, websites, telephone numbers, email addresses, or social-media accounts associated with a reported matter
• Other information voluntarily supplied for investigative review

Information submitted about a matter may relate to the person submitting it, an alleged offender, a counterparty, a witness, an organization, or another third party.

C. TOKEN TRACE WATCH AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
If you use Token Trace Watch or another account-based service, we may collect:
• Account and login information
• Member or client identifiers
• Subscription plan and billing status
• Case identifiers
• Monitored wallet addresses and blockchain networks
• Dormant or monitored asset amounts
• Case status and monitoring preferences
• Review dates and monitoring history
• Alerts, activity records, and communications
• Portal activity and account-access information
• Information needed to provide support or maintain the account

D. PAYMENT AND TRANSACTION INFORMATION
When you purchase a service or subscription, payment information may be collected and processed by a third-party payment processor.

Token Trace may receive limited information such as:
• Billing name
• Billing address
• Payment status
• Payment method type
• Transaction or invoice identifier
• Subscription start, renewal, cancellation, and expiration dates

Token Trace generally does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes when payment is processed directly by a third-party processor.

E. COMMUNITY INTELLIGENCE AND SCAM REPORTS

If you submit information through a Community Intelligence Form or similar reporting channel, we may collect:
• Your contact information, if provided
• Reported websites, domains, wallet addresses, usernames, or other identifiers
• Descriptions of suspected fraudulent conduct
• Supporting evidence or documentation
• Information about financial losses or transactions
• Any other information included in the submission

Submissions may be reviewed for investigative, research, fraud-awareness, or Scam Tracker purposes. Submission does not guarantee publication or investigation.

F. COMMUNICATIONS
We may retain communications you send to us, including:
• Emails
• Contact-form submissions
• Support requests
• Meeting or call notes
• Feedback
• Communications regarding billing, monitoring, or investigations


G. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
When you use our Site or client portal, we or our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, such as:
• Internet Protocol address
• Browser type
• Device type
• Operating system
• Referring website
• Pages viewed
• Dates and times of access
• Approximate geographic location derived from an IP address

Information from third-party or public sources may be incomplete, inaccurate, or later updated.


3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

• Evaluate prospective matters
• Provide blockchain tracing, forensic analysis, monitoring, AML, KYT, compliance, and consulting services
• Create and maintain client accounts and portals
• Provide Token Trace Watch
• Monitor specified public blockchain addresses
• Generate alerts, case-status updates, and monitoring records
• Process payments and administer subscriptions
• Communicate about services, accounts, renewals, billing, or support
• Prepare reports, diagrams, transaction summaries, and investigative findings
• Communicate with law enforcement, exchanges, wallet providers, legal representatives, regulators, or other relevant parties when authorized or appropriate
• Review Community Intelligence submissions
• Maintain and improve the Crypto Scam Tracker and other awareness resources
• Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents
• Maintain business, tax, accounting, and legal records
• Enforce agreements and protect legal rights
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations
• Improve the functionality, performance, and security of our Site and Services
• Conduct internal research, quality control, and service development
• Carry out other purposes disclosed at the time information is collected or with your authorization


4. BLOCKCHAIN AND PUBLICLY AVAILABLE DATA
Blockchain networks are generally public distributed ledgers. Wallet addresses, transaction identifiers, token balances, smart-contract activity, and related transaction information may be publicly visible and accessible independently of Token Trace.

Token Trace may collect, retain, analyze, organize, and report publicly available blockchain information in connection with investigations, monitoring, risk reviews, and other Services.

Token Trace does not control the blockchain and generally cannot modify, erase, or restrict access to information recorded on a public blockchain.

A wallet address or transaction identifier may constitute personal information where it can reasonably be connected to an identified or identifiable person. We therefore handle blockchain information in accordance with this Privacy Policy where applicable.


5. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we may process personal information based on:

• Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract
• Our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and providing our Services
• Your consent
• Compliance with legal obligations
• Establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims
• Protection of the rights, safety, or property of Token Trace, our clients, users, or others
• Other grounds permitted by applicable law

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, although withdrawal does not affect processing already performed or processing based on another lawful ground.

A. CLIENTS AND AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES
We may provide information and investigative findings to the client that engaged us and to persons authorized by that client, such as attorneys, accountants, consultants, insurers, or law-enforcement contacts.


B. EXCHANGES, WALLET PROVIDERS, AND OTHER SERVICES
Where appropriate to an engagement, we may communicate relevant information to cryptocurrency exchanges, wallet providers, swap services, payment processors, blockchain services, or other entities involved in a transaction flow or investigative matter.


C. LAW ENFORCEMENT, REGULATORS, AND LEGAL PROCESS
We may disclose information:
• At the request or direction of a client
• To support a report, freeze request, investigative referral, or legal process
• In response to a subpoena, warrant, court order, or other lawful request
• Where required or permitted by law
• Where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect safety, defend legal rights, or address suspected unlawful activity


D. SERVICE PROVIDERS
We may disclose information to vendors and contractors that assist with:
• Website hosting and operation
• Client portals and membership accounts
• Payment processing
• Email and communications
• Data storage and document management
• Analytics
• Security and fraud prevention
• Blockchain analytics
• Professional, accounting, insurance, and legal support

These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for Token Trace and are subject to applicable contractual or legal obligations.

8. PUBLICATION OF SCAM-RELATED INFORMATION
Token Trace may publish certain information through its Crypto Scam Tracker or other public awareness resources, including:

• Reported website or domain names
• Public wallet addresses
• Public social-media identifiers
• General descriptions of reported activity
• Dates or categories associated with reports

We generally seek to avoid publishing the personal contact information of a person who submits a report unless authorized or legally appropriate.

Information may be based on third-party reports or public sources and may not be independently verified in every case. Token Trace may edit, redact, decline, update, or remove a submission or listing.


9. SALE, SHARING, AND TARGETED ADVERTISING
Token Trace does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Token Trace does not use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects through automated profiling.

Certain website analytics, advertising, or social-media technologies, if enabled, may be treated as "sharing," targeted advertising, or similar activity under some privacy laws. Where required, we will provide an appropriate method to manage those preferences.


10. DATA RETENTION
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

• Provide and administer Services
• Maintain monitoring and account records
• Complete an investigation or engagement
• Preserve relevant evidence and work product
• Maintain accounting, tax, insurance, and business records
• Resolve disputes
• Enforce agreements
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
• Protect against fraud, abuse, or security incidents

Retention periods may differ depending on the nature of the information, the applicable engagement, legal requirements, and legitimate business needs.

When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely isolate it, subject to technical limitations such as backup systems and immutable public blockchains.

Canceling Token Trace Watch does not necessarily result in the immediate deletion of all account, billing, monitoring, or case records.


11. DATA SECURITY
Token Trace uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures may include access restrictions, account controls, secure service providers, password protections, and other safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information.

No system, storage method, or internet transmission is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for notifying Token Trace promptly if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

Do not submit seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, exchange passwords, authentication codes, or other credentials that could permit access to digital assets.


12. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Token Trace is based in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws in your jurisdiction. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.


13. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

• Request confirmation of whether we process your personal information
• Request access to personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of certain information
• Request restriction of certain processing
• Object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Request a portable copy of certain information
• Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling
• Appeal a decision regarding a privacy request
• Lodge a complaint with an applicable privacy or data-protection authority

These rights are not absolute. For example, Token Trace may need to retain information to complete a contract, comply with law, preserve evidence, protect legal rights, maintain privileged or confidential work, prevent fraud, or retain information recorded on a public blockchain.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. Authorized agents may be required to provide evidence of their authority.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.


14. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Token Trace may send service-related communications concerning inquiries, engagements, accounts, security, billing, monitoring, or subscriptions.

Where permitted, we may also send occasional marketing or informational communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe mechanism provided or by contacting us.

Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not prevent us from sending transactional, account, security, billing, or service-related messages.


15. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Site and Services are not directed to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 18. If we learn that a child has submitted personal information without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it where required.


16. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES
The Site may link to third-party websites, exchanges, blockchain explorers, social-media platforms, wallet providers, or other services.

Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies. Token Trace is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or conduct of third parties.


17. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our Services, technology, business practices, or legal obligations.

The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Where required by law, we may provide additional notice of material changes.
